Paste the game, the highlight or the practice film
Any YouTube link works, including a link with a timestamp, a Short, or a YouTube clip.

Mark the play
Set the in and out points around the possession, the pitch, the swing or the rep. A Playback can be up to five minutes; most are under fifteen seconds.

Say what to watch
Add your take, then pin a reaction or a comment to the exact frame it is about. The video eases into slow motion as it passes each pin.
Step through it like film
The comma and period keys move one frame at a time (frames assume 30 per second, because YouTube does not share the real frame rate). Hold Shift to drop to quarter speed and let go to resume. J, K and L shuttle back, stop and forward the way an editing deck does.
Put two plays next to each other
Compare holds two moments side by side with a shared remote: same play from two angles, this season against last, your swing against a pro's. Set where each one's zero point is, so both reach contact or release at the same instant.
Rehearse it, do not just watch it
Practice adds a silent gap after every pass. Watch the footwork, get the gap to walk through it yourself, and the loop comes back on its own.

Questions
- Can my team see it without accounts?
- Yes. A Playback is a link. Anyone who opens it gets the same loop and the same frame-step controls, with no sign-in. Commenting works without an account too; you post as a guest and can claim the work later.
- Is it OK to use someone else's YouTube video?
- Playback never downloads, copies or re-hosts a video. The video plays from YouTube's own player, on YouTube's terms, and the creator still gets the view. What Playback saves is a pointer: the video's ID, a start and end time, a speed, and your words. If the owner removes the video from YouTube, it stops playing here too.
