The quote, with the tape
A written quote loses the pause, the laugh and the tone. A Playback is the quote and the tape together, looping until it lands, and it opens on that moment instead of at the start of a three-hour episode.

- Is it fair to the show?
- The moment plays in YouTube's own player, from the show's own upload, with the show's title and channel on the page. Nothing is copied, and the full episode is one click away on YouTube.
- Is it OK to use someone else's YouTube video?
- Playback never downloads, copies or re-hosts a video. The video plays from YouTube's own player, on YouTube's terms, with YouTube's own ads. What Playback saves is a pointer: the video's ID, a start and end time, a speed, and your words. If the owner removes the video from YouTube, it stops playing here too.
